Cooking Oils form an integral part of Indian lifestyle. However, one is confronted with an array of well marketed cooking oil brands asserting host of health claims. Indians love deep frying, hence, cooking oil is consumed in good proportions in every home. We at ‘Nature Farms & Beyond’ have tried our best to incorporate the traditional healthy, natural cooking oils, in line with our wise age-old practices.
Why you should switch over to Nature Farms & Beyond’s natural oils ?
Discover the power of natural, pure, healthy oils, which rely essentially on traditional methods of processing and are unrefined.
Natural, cold pressed oils were a way of life around 50 years back, however, rapid industrialisation made the commercialised mass scale processing popular thus introducing humans to the present day refined oils. These refined oils are manufactured in large factories and the high speed, high temperature processing alters the molecules of the oils, which deprives the oils of their real nutritional value. Unlike the normal refined oils, our oils offer a more healthy alternative as the oil seeds are crushed at slow speed and at low temperatures, which retains the natural flavour and 100 % nutritional content.
Another noteworthy aspect of these oils is that they are consumed less than the ordinary refined oils, which means body gets less quantity of oil thus making it even more healthy proposition and cost effectiveness is as added plus. On the face of it may sound a little expensive but lower consumption reduces the cost also, proportionately.
As a matter of healthy mix, cooking oils should be had in combination and one must keep on shifting oils on regular basis. We have identified groundnut oil, mustard oil, linseed oil, sesame oil and coconut oil as an ideal mix of our oil portfolio. Every oil has a unique set of properties, and are a rare treasure of good health. Vitamins, minerals, micro-nutrients and more are available in this natural form in abundance. Coconut Oil
Coconut oil is one of the most interesting and healthy oils on our planet. It has a unique combination of healthy, saturated fats. Saturated fats not only increase good cholesterol levels (HDL) but also converts bad cholesterol (LDL) into good cholesterols. Three healthy fats, called Medium chain fatty acids (MCFA), are lauric acid, capric acid, caprylic acid. MCFAs are perfect source of energy because they only have to go through 3 – step process to be turned into fuel as compared to other fats which have to go through 26 – step process. MCFAs are easier to digest, not readily stored as fat, processed by liver which means that they are immediately converted to energy instead of being stored as fat. Boosts immune system, good for heart, kidneys and liver, improves memory and brain functions. Excellent for hair and skin rejuvenation.
